Hitman, along with Trickster, is one of the two Elite Assassin-type classes that cost 400 points in CRITICAL STRIKE.

Appearance[]

Hitman appears as a person wearing a fancy suit, donning a tie and fedora, with gloves on each arm.

Overview[]

Hitman's kit focuses around quickly taking down one target at a time, boasting a unique targeting mechanic, allowing Hitman to increase the damage of their CRT. With their hybrid rushdown-zoner style kit, they can exploit weaknesses to deal consistently high raw damage, and even chain moves together to maximize damage output. To further improve this, Hitman has strong mobility options and mix-up potential, granting them versatile offensive gameplay; capable of combat up close or at a distance.

Overall, the powerful offence and high mobility Hitman boasts is balanced out by its low-ish health and the fact that it relies on successful use of CRT to win fights.

Tips and Tricks[]

  • (OUTDATED) Hitman deals 50% more damage to their target, but takes 25% more damage in return. Overall, it's best to take down your target early.
  • (OUTDATED) You can save CRT, and use it at Final Strike for an unsuspected advantage.
  • AB2 has the unique trait of slashing on contact with the ground. Use this to your advantage.
  • [Dirty Trick]: You can actually use AB1 while performing AB2, so that when it lands, you will stab after shooting AB2, making it hard to let the opponent dodge.
    • This can be used just after bouncing into the void to quickly surprise your foes.
  • Use AB1's invisibility to your advantage. Trick foes into thinking you're approaching when you're backing away, and vise-versa.
  • Keep in mind that you take extra damage from the target, meaning that you are very fragile.
  • AB2's ranged version actually deals more total damage if you land all the shots. However, the range is low, and landing all bullets is unlikely.
  • During AB1's duration, you cannot use moves. However, mashing ATK will allow you to slash instantly after leaving stealth, dealing an instant 27-40 damage; depending if it's used against your target or not.
  • Since you can play melee and ranged, use your opponent's weakness against them.
    • If they excel at ranged play, get in their face and out-dps them.
    • If they excel at melee play, stay back and chip them down, or quickly burst them down before they can get an upper hand.
  • [Niche Glitch]: Within a very brief time window, AB2's leap can be canceled by jumping. This is very rare, and is only reliably done with Macros.
    • This allowed the player to perform a melee slash without a leap, or fire a barrage of bullets instantly, at the cost of mobility.
  • Time your AB2. It only works when you touch the ground.
    • Attempting to do this in mid-air does not work, and thus, disable your ATK. It is recommended not to use this ability right the moment you fall into the void.

Combos[]

AB2 > AB1 > ATK

  • Dash in with AB2, then during the cripple, use AB1 and ATK to deal an unavoidable 27-40 damage. Deals 39-58 damage total if all attacks land.
  • Variation 1: Use AB1 during AB2's dash if you are confident. It allows you to perform the stab earlier, allowing for more ATKs to be used during the cripple duration.

Skins[]

  • Valentine: 100 Charming Tokens
  • Has overalls and baggy-looking pants, as well as a more detailed shirt and bowtie. Has wings on its back, and gun has a heart on it.
  • The movesets are changed to the skin theme:
    • ATK's slash is now a rose-liked.
    • AB1 will unleash a rose.
    • AB2's bullets has a heart-shaped shockwave while the slash comprises two roses.
    • CRT's GUI mark is now a heart-shaped symbol.

  • Hitman was added before v5.4.(?).
  • Hitman's design may take inspiration from the music video for Michael Jackson's song Smooth Criminal.
  • Epic stated that he likes the weapon of Hitman. He likes the concept of it.
  • In v5.8.0, Hitman's walkspeed was buffed to 40, thus tied with Thief. However, many people dislike this change, as they make this class even more OP.
    • This was now reverted back to 35 in v5.8.6.
